Q: Who can I chat with on MUAB?

A: You can chat with other users, creators, and professionals. Depending on your privacy settings, you may allow everyone to message you or limit chats to followers or verified users.

Q: Where can I find my messages?

A: Tap the Chat icon in the bottom navigation bar. This opens your inbox, where all your conversations are neatly organized.

Q: Can I start a chat from someone’s profile?

A: Yes! Simply tap the Message button on a creator’s or user’s profile to begin a conversation instantly.

Q: Can I message anyone on MUAB?

A: It depends on your privacy settings. You can choose to receive messages from everyone, only people you follow, verified users, or no one at all.

Q: How can I change who can message me?

A: Go to Settings → Privacy & Access, then choose your preferred option for who can start a chat with you.

Q: Can I see if someone has read my message?

A: Currently, MUAB Chat does not display read receipts to keep communication private and distraction-free.

Q: What happens if I receive unwanted messages?

A: You can block or report a user directly from the chat window. Once blocked, they will no longer be able to message you.

Q: Can I delete a chat?

A: Yes. You can remove any chat from your inbox by selecting Delete. This only removes the conversation from your view—it won’t delete it for the other person.

Q: Are my chats private?

A: Absolutely. All messages are encrypted and visible only to you and the person you’re chatting with. MUAB never shares or displays your private conversations publicly.

Q: What if I don’t see the Chat icon?

A: Make sure your app is updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, contact support through the Help section.
