The Chat feature lets you connect directly with creators, learners, and professionals across MUAB. Whether you’re asking a question about a digital product, starting a conversation with a follower, or networking with other creators, Chat makes communication simple and meaningful.
🚀 Where to Find Chat
You can access Chat anytime from the top navigation bar, it’s the message icon on the far right.
Tap it to open your Inbox, where you’ll see all your conversations neatly organized.
💬 What You Can Do in Chat
1. Start Conversations
Tap Message from any creator’s profile to begin chatting.
You can message people who follow you, people you follow, or anyone (based on your privacy settings).
Each conversation displays the user’s name, title, and latest message preview.
2. View Your Followers & Following Lists
Inside Chat, tap the Followers or Following buttons to view your connections.
From these lists, you can directly Message any user to start a conversation.
If you’re not following anyone yet, the app will show an empty state with a “Discover Users” button to help you explore new profiles.
3. Manage Privacy & Access
Control who can message you from Settings → Privacy & Access.
Choose from four options:
Everyone – Anyone can send you a message.
Only People I Follow – Restrict messages to users you follow.
Only Verified Users/Businesses – Allow only verified accounts to reach you.
No One – Turn off incoming messages entirely.
